Though strong, the wind couldn’t blow away the fierce competition that made up day two at the 2 Construct Victorian Youth Dressage Championships on Friday!

The championship results were:

Charlie Welsh and the stunning MSJ Tia Fortuna winning the Riddells Creek Dressage Elementary Championship with Jasmine Abernethy and Royal Diamond Jubilee taking out Reserve Champion.

Emily Yeoman riding the gorgeous Cambridge Park Charli Brown took out the Carol Hayes Pony Elementary Championship with Skye Wright and Kamber Merfyn claiming Reserve Champion.

Olivia Gillespie and her beautiful Versace I won the Carol Hayes Advanced Championship with Chloe Salter and Elite Laayla taking out Reserve Champion.

Shayleigh Joblin and the lovely Maxwell Matador Royale won the Toorak College Interschool Primary Novice Championship with Bianca Griffiths riding Rhyl Georgette taking home Reserve Champion.

Jasmine Abernethy continued her successful day claiming the Toorak College Interschool Intermediate Novice with Ebony Campbell and Kings Town Galliano receiving Reserve Champion.

Ellie Holland and Vollrath Dornkaat were not fazed by the windy conditions at Boneo Park Equestrian Centre, preferring the fresh air to the smoke haze that surrounds their home, winning the Toorak College Interschool Senior Novice Championship. Maddison Growcott and

Bloomfield Fantastic took out Reserve Champion.

Marni Clapham and the clever Frantonio won the FEI Para Grade I Team Test.

Friday also saw the start to FEI Championships, with the final results not being determined till the final day.
