The 2019 Marcus Oldham Australian Interschool National Championships saw some outstanding performances over the duration of the event. The four-day competition was held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC), and was deemed a big success!

The Interschools Victorian Equestrian Team returned to SIEC this year hoping to defend their National Championships title, which was won the previous year at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre. The talented bunch of Victorian school students proved themselves again, claiming The Harry le Bherz Perpetual Trophy for the Champion State Team, by a margin of 82 points. Congratulations to the Interschools Victorian Equestrian Team on this fantastic result.

The overall winning Australian Interschool Championship eventing team was awarded to Victoria, with a  total point score of 89.20. Second place was awarded to team New South Wales, with a total point score of 90.00, while third place went to Queensland, with a total point score of 96.10.

The primary and secondary combined training national team title was awarded to Victoria in both divisions. The Victorian primary combined training team won with a total team point score of 104, while the secondary victorian combined training team won with a total point score of 105.

The combined Training Trophy was presented this year to Victoria’s Millie Ritchie and Jaybee Artiste B.

The Finch Farms Show Jumping Trophy was awarded to Alexandra Inglis and Narwarrah Bridget Jones.

The Show Rider Trophy was presented to Elizabeth Taylor, and her stunning warmblood mare, EBL One Night in Paris.

The prestigious Tammy Rhodes Dressage Trophy was awarded to Queensland’s Felicity Shearer and Riverview Cindrella.
