Action continues at CHIO Aachen

The action continues at CHIO Aachen, with a number of Australians in action overnight!

In the ‘Top Score’ obstacle driving competition for four-in hand drivers, Boyd Exell finished in eighth place on 1580 points; Austria’s Daniel Schneiders won the class on 1800 points. Boyd will today contest the Marathon with his team at 3.35pm local time (11.35pm AEST).

Simone Pearce and Destano scored 70.391% to finish 20th in the CDIO5* Grand Prix; the class was won by The Netherland’s Dinja van Liere and Hermes on 78.022%. Simone will today ride the Special at 1.50pm local time (9.50pm AEST).

Kevin McNab is in 31st and 34th position in the SAP Cup with Willunga (46.3) and Scuderia 1918 A Best Friend (48.7) following the dressage and showjumping phases. Kevin will head out on cross country today at 11.38am and 12.22pm local time (7.38pm and 8.22pm AEST). Great Britain’s Kirsty Chabert and Classic IV lead the field on 29.5.

In the CDI4* Grand Prix Special, William Matthew and Belantis finished ninth on 65.085%. Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier and Valesco 50 won the class.

Tayla Desmet will ride her Inter I test with Zaubermaus at 5pm local time (1am Sunday AEST).
