Aussie eventers climb the FEI Eventing World Athlete Rankings

The FEI Eventing World Athlete Rankings, which were updated on the 1st of November, have seen plenty of movement in the top 50, particularly for the Australian eventers.

Chris Burton is currently the highest ranked Australian eventer, sitting in current third place with a total score of 515. Burton sits behind New Zealand eventing star Tim Price, who currently has a total point score of 542. The current leader of the FEI Eventing World Athlete Rankings is once again, Oliver Townend, with 554 points.

The next Australian event rider on the list is Shane Rose, who jumped from 30th to 10th. Shane currently sits on a point score of 337.

Stuart Tinney has slipped back one spot to 22nd, with a point score of 298.

Kevin McNab had jumped up 24 spots to current 28th position, with a point score of 289.

Andrew Cooper has slipped back four spots, from 29th to 33rd, with a point score of 282.

Hazel Shannon has jumped from 83rd position to current 39th, with a point score of 255. Andrew Hoy, who is currently sitting right behind Hazel in 40th position with 251 points has jumped an impressive 82 spots.

Amanda Ross has slipped down one spot to 50th position, with a point score of 230.

The CCI5* at the Australian International Three Day Event is fast approaching, which is sure to see some further movement for Aussie eventers in the ranks before the end of the year is out. Stay tuned for further updates!
