Aussies move to second after cross country at Boekelo Nations Cup

A good day on cross country has seen the Australian Nations Cup team move from sixth to second in the rankings at Boekelo CCIO4*-L.

Chris Burton on Clever Louis and Kevin McNab on Fernhill Tabasco led the charge, with both coming in clear and under time on cross country. Chris sits in third place on 26, while Kevin is ninth on 28.5. Chris is less than a rail behind the leader, Germany’s Sandra Auffarth and Let’s Dance 73, who are on 24.9.

Catherine Burrell and Duke were also clear, but picked up 8.8 time penalties to finish the day on 40.8 in 38th. Sammi Birch and Finduss PFB picked up 20.8 penalties, for a total of 59.8 and 63rd, while Ben Leahy and Imperial Sky picked up 44 penalties for 83.3 and 75th. All Aussies improved on they positions after the dressage.

Germany are leading the Nations Cup team rankings.
