The Ego SunSense Sunscreen Australasian Show Horse and Rider Championships, which was held last week at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre saw some outstanding combinations compete. The event, which commenced on the 5th of December saw a range of Rein, Show Hunter, Pony, Galloway and Hack classes throughout the duration of the event.

The champion of the Large Hack over 16hh class, which was the final class of the championships, was awarded to Victorian rider, Kaitlin Labahn-Meyland and the gorgeous grey, Rolex II. Reserve Champion was awarded to Jess Stones and Tattinger I, while Third place was awarded to Natalie McKay and St Andrews.

Team Victoria took out the State Teams Perpetual Trophy, which is a highpoint trophy presented to the winning team based on points accumulated during three days of competition.

EQ Life would like to congratulate all the riders and owners who competed at the event, and would like to also congratulate the organisers for putting on such a well-run event.
