Riding the impressive grey gelding Finch Farm Clifford, Australia’s David Cameron has commenced his American campaign, competing this week at the Winter Equestrian Festival at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Centre. A total of 110 riders representing 18 nations entered the main ring at the prestigious event, with David Cameron the sole Australian competitor in the main classes.

On the first day of competition, David and Finch Farm Clifford incurred 8 penalties in the 1.45m class, while on day 2 the pair jumped clear in the first round of the 1.45m class, with an unlucky 4 penalties in the jump off seeing them finish just out of the prize money in 13th place from 35 starters.

David and Finch Farm Clifford will return to the venue in two weeks’ time to compete in the CSI 3* show. We look forward to following their progress and success!
