Equestrian Australia (EA) is pleased to announce the Australian Equestrian Team – Vaulting for the FEI World Equestrian Games™ Tryon 2018 in September.

The Vaulting Selection Panel in accordance with the WEG 2018 Selection Policy-Vaulting have confirmed the following;

Individual Females
    •    Stephanie Dore
    •    Sarah Grayson
    •    Ruth Skrzpek
Individual Male
    •    Jamie Hocking
Pas de Deux
    •    Jerri Dixon & Rachel Barlow

After learning news of his selection Denmark based Jamie Hocking said he was thrilled to be named as part of the Australian team with his young mare French Kiss;

“I’m very happy, really happy to hear French Kiss and I are confirmed for WEG. There is a lot going right for us at the moment. We have three more competitions between now and WEG” said Hocking.

“French is obviously young, in her second year of competition - but she is such a trier, she has a good head and is always learning - always getting more consistent.

Her way of going helps my way of going, because I trust her, I can count on her to try her best,” he said.

Congratulations to all athletes on their selection and best of luck with the important final preparations over the coming months in the lead up to WEG.

Meet Jamie Hocking in the video below.
