Rockers Bruce Springsteen and partner Patti Scialfa are stepping up to help raise money for the United States Equestrian Team’s 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic campaign.

Springsteen and Scialfa will join honorary chairmen Lou and Joan Jacobs as chairs of the USET Foundation’s Take Me To Tokyo gala, this Friday, January 17, in Wellington, Florida.

Springsteen and Scialfa’s daughter, Jessica Springsteen, is a top showjumper for the US and has competed internationally. She will be vying for a place on the team for Tokyo.

Springsteen and Scialfa have been involved with horses for two decades, since Jessica began riding at the age of five. The pair assisted with a similar gala for the 2016 Rio Olympics, which raised more than $1 million.
