Police are investigating after 21 Household Cavalry horses were released from their field in the UK, causing carnage on a nearby road.
The horses, which form part of the Queen’s Life Guard, bolted when released from their field — reports also state three people chased them on motorbikes. Several were hit by vehicles, although miraculously all survived the incident. A number of horses were stopped just short of a dual carriageway.
Although a number of cars were damaged, no occupants were injured. The investigation continues.
