Competition in Victoria is back!

Equestrian competition in Victoria is finally back, with Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre (WPNEC) hosting the Jumping Victoria Glenwood Park Spring Classic over the weekend.

In typical Melbourne fashion, the weather gave competitors a little bit of everything - beautiful sunshine and fine conditions Saturday, and then a mixed bag on Sunday with heat, howling gusty winds, and rain! Unfortunately the high winds forced the cancellation of the final event on the Sunday, the 1.40m Championship, however it was a great weekend of competition nonetheless.

Rebecca Barling riding On Your Mark won the 1.10m Championship on Sunday.

The event was dominated by the Dobbin family, who won many classes - which was only fitting as they hosted and organised the show!
