The cutting world is mourning the death of the well known and much respected horseman, 'Long John' Brekelmans. The National Cutting Horse Association of Australia today broke the sad news on their Facebook page, with the following statement:

“We have woken this morning to the very sad news of the passing of our great friend 'Long John' Brekelmans. A valued NCHA member, a much respected Trainer, an acclaimed horseman and a humble and respectful man, gentleman and Cowboy. On behalf of the Board and all of the Members we extend our deepest condolences to John's family. Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time. R.I.P Cowboy.”

The Equestrian Life team would also like to express our sincere condolences to John’s family and friends.
