David Finch has been elected Chair of the Board of Equestrian Queensland following the resignation of Karen Herald.

David served as a director from 2008 to 2014 and Vice Chair in 2015.  A national coach educator, NCAS level 3 accredited jumping specialist coach, high level competitive rider, and breeder of horses, David brings to the role a depth of industry knowledge and a diverse range of perspectives.

“I want to acknowledge the contribution made by Karen Herald over the past six years on the Board of Equestrian Queensland.

 "On behalf of the Board and the members of Equestrian Queensland I extend our sincere thanks to Karen for the work she has undertaken in a voluntarily capacity, and offer our very best wishes for her future endeavours,” he said.
