Current FEI dressage reserve champion Dorothee Schneider was hospitalised last week after suffering a fall from the 10-year-old Hanoverian stallion Quantum Vis.

The accident occurred while Schneider was mounting Quantum Vis, when he spooked at something in the distance, and proceeded to bolt. The German Olympian was taken to hospital shortly after the accident, and was kept overnight for observation.

Fortunately no one was seriously injured in the accident. Schneider has since returned home and is making a full recovery.
