Galloping 43 year old mare

I started giving my mare, Holly, Rose-Hip Vital five months ago, as I was afraid she wasn't ready for winter because she can't keep weight on all too well. She was also starting to get arthritic pain.

After two weeks of two feeds with Rose-Hip Vital, I noticed her galloping around her paddock, whinnying when she would see us and cantering up to the gates. After four weeks, she was gaining weight and her coat and hooves improved immensely.

I was given Holly from my parents for Christmas in 1999, she was an old breeding mare. She was the best riding pony to learn on - completely 'bomb' proof as everyone would say. We would go trail riding, jumping and galloping around the property. I made the decision to retire Holly after we found out her real age - 39 (at the time). We were told she was a 19 year old by the previous owners! Holly had adopted our pet goats and sheep, she followed them everywhere.

She is such a placid and beautiful natured pony. She loves little kids, my one year old nephew and the neighbourhood kids always come and give her carrots and a pat. So thank you Rose-Hip Vital for giving my old girl a healthier life - an extremely happy customer!
