Germany’s dressage teams have won both the European Championships for Young Riders and Juniors this week.

Riding the Rhineberg gelding Carlos, 18-year-old Hannah Erbe set a record championship team score in leading the Young Rider team to gold. The pair scored 77.316% in the team competition. Her score bettered the previous record of 76.947% set by the Netherlands’ Jeanine Nieuwenhuis in 2016. The other three team members all scored over 70%.

In the Junior Championships, Germany filled three of the top four places to secure the country’s fifth straight title. All four riders scored over 70%.
