Well it has been a few quieter months in the Sobecki household. On the conclusion of the WEG 2014, has meant the end of the journey for Hatero de PB (aka Harry Hot Pants) and I. I am so grateful for the experience and gift given to me by Hatero's owners (Kerrie Massey & Heather Currie), the charming Spaniard stallion changed my life! He taught me a huge amount, and now it's time for me to continue onto my next journey.

Upon return to Australia, I competed in my first Prix St Georges on Karina Laudato's imported German Riding Pony, FS Golden storm, at the SA Dressage Spring Championships. We went against the big boys, and managed to achieve 3rd in the PSG with 62.6% and then 1st in the EA (we did advanced) Freestyle with 66.5%! Not bad against the big horses! He is a very clever pony who tries his heart out. Massive thank you to Lizzie Annells for grooming for me! 

Shortly after Spring Champs, I came down with a nasty virus, which knocked me for six. After few weeks recuperating, I was back in the saddle, back where I belong!!

The search now for a horse of my own has begun. As everybody knows though, horses are extremely costly. Even more so at the elite level, which is where I would like to continue to be competitive at! Recently I attended the Channel 7 Community Achievement Awards, where I was a finalist in the sport category. Much to my amazement, I won!! Thanks to Commonwealth Bank, I now have a little something in the 'new horse' kitty :) Thank you to all my friends, family and sponsors, I wouldn't have been able to achieve this without you!
