The 36th Annual Danish Warmblood Stallion Show was held in Herning, Denmark last week with international Dressage champion Charlotte Dujardin in attendance.

The DWB Young Horse Championship was one of the highlight events of the show, displaying the nations most promising young horses as they went head to head in both dressage and jumping classes.

Guest of honour Charlotte rode several of the young dressage horses in the competition, with the most impressive being 5-year-old stallion Tørveslettens Fifty-Fifty.

Mic'd up and talking the audience through her ride, it appeared as though Charlotte may have found her next Valego in the talented young stallion.

Scoring him 2 x 10, Tørveslettens Fifty-Fifty finished third in the event behind an superb pair of full sisters Fiontini and Fiontina, embryo transfer daughters by Fassbinder/Blue Hors Romanov.

Riding Tørveslettens Fifty-Fifty in the demonstration, Charlotte comended the steele grey's trainer for his incredible ride-ability and aptitude for the higher dressage movements.

She even admitted to wanting to take the striking horse home, and proceeded to ride him over the allocated time because she was enjoying the ride so much.

The undeniable connection Charlotte forms with the stallion is truly mesmerising… Watch and see for yourself.
