An EQUiSPA session at Jan Tops and Edwina Tops-Alexander's stable in Valkenswaard (Netherlands).

For decades, hydrotherapy has been an integral part of the equine world: from simply hosing your horse's legs after a workout to taking your horse to the beach for a swim - why not bring a new tool to your stables? HorseGym Australia is proud to introduce the EQUiSPA.

HorseGym's EQUiSPA is an easy maintenance spa for any horse stable. Cold water is pumped in the EQUiSPA and fills it up to 60cm. The water temperature can be cooled as low as 1.5 degrees Celsius and 36 high-pressure nozzles add motion to cool water. The unit can be operated with salt water and comes with a 2,000l tank and filtration system.

Spa treatments not only prevent injuries but also help with the healing process of already existing injuries and lameness.

Of course the prevention of an injury is always better than curing one. The regular use of cold water after exercise has been proven to assist in preventing lower leg injuries.

University of Sydney studies on equine spa treatments have shown positive results in the reduction of swellings, soreness after exercise, tendonitis and desmitis. Other benefits from using a spa have been found in pre and post surgery care, open wounds management and the treatment of laminitis.

The HorseGym EQUiSPA is a great addition to your daily training routine and now available in Australia.
