British show jumping legend, John Whitaker has announced the retirement of his 18-year-old bay stallion, Argento.

The show jumping sensation, who has had a successful partnership with Whitaker for over 10 years, will now focus entirely on his breeding career.

Whitaker and “Archie” have together won multiple Grand Prix classes together, including the CSI5* Grand Prix of St. Tropez in 2016, Hong Kong in 2015 and Treffen in 2014. The brilliantly bred stallion also topped the prestigious WBFSH list in 2015.
