Australian combination Kristy Oatley and Du Soleil have continued their run of great scores, achieving a 69.000% for sixth place in a CDI4* Grand Prix at Wiesbadener, Germany. Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier and Fabregaz won the class — which was the qualifier for the Special — on a score of 73.043%.

Kristy also rode Swagman 2 in the Grand Prix (Freestyle qualifier), scoring 65.630%.

Australia’s Peter John Weston also contested the GP (Special qualifer) class with Dundee 117, scoring 60.457%. Peter then rode the Grand Prix (Freestyle qualifier) with Kavalou, finishing on a score of 66.348%, and achieved 67.900% in the Freestyle.

Kristy and Du Soleil already have more than the two 69%+ qualifying scores required to be considered for the Australian team at WEG. Although this most recent score falls short of their personal best at the CDI4* in Hamburg — 72.543% — it’s still a terrific score that demonstrates great consistency, meaning the pair are very likely to be named as part of our WEG team later in the year.
