One of the premier events on the Victorian eventing calendar, Lakes and Craters Horse Trials took place over the weekend.

Sophie Landy and OTT thoroughbred Humble Glory were winners in the CCI4*-S, while Laura Wallace and Van Heck won the CCI4*-L.

Amanda Ross and Koko Popping Candy completed the dressage and jumping phases of the four star and were leading the field, however the pair didn’t contest the cross country as Amanda is saving the mare for other events later in the year.

Sophie Doake and Grandjany won the CCI3*-S, while Simon Tainsh and Punching in a Dream won the CCI3*-L.

Andrew Cooper and WG Orlando won the CCI2*-S and Interschools, while Lucy Petersen and Ask No More were the highest placed Interschool competitor in second place. Christina Grear and OTT horse Roger That won the CCI2*-L.

In the 1* divisions, the winners were Sophie Bennett on Bvlgari (CCNJ1*-L), Amy Gotts-Wheeler riding Sharvalley Thunder (CCN1*-S), and Natasha Hickling and Super Freak (CCN1*-L).
