Liz Sobecki Reflects on 2014

Liz Sobecki

First of all, I would like to wish everyone and their four-legged companions a Merry Christmas!!

I can't believe how fast the year has flown, and boy, what a year it has been! The last few months leading up to Christmas I haven't had a horse to consistently ride, so things have been a little tough. My body certainly responds very well to riding, and since I haven't been in the saddle much since mid October, I'm feeling a little on the stiff side! If I'm perfectly honest, it's my brain that's suffering more I think! I'm going absolutely crazy!! So the hunt for my own or even a possible loan horse in Australia continues. You never know what may lie around the corner :)

It's in situations like this where positivity is very important. The minute I even think negative, I notice my health go downhill and my MS symptoms start to become aggravated. I have always been a massive believer of the power of the human mind, it can do incredible things. It has been seven years now that I have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and I firmly believe that positive thinking has played a huge factor in my recovery over the years when I have become quite ill. So guys, ditch the frown and start thinking about the things that are going right!! Never look back, unless it's to see how far you have come.

I think 2015 is going to be a huge year, I am so excited to see what is in store for the future!

Merry Christmas everyone and have a very Happy New Year! :)

Liz Sobecki.
