Australian Olympian Lyndal Oatley has enjoyed further success in Denmark, again scoring over 70% with the stunning grey Eros.

The pair scored 70.808% in the CDI3* Grand Prix Special, with scores as high as 72.340% from one of the five judges. They finished in sixth place.

“I was so proud of him in his first ever go through of the Special! Hadn’t even practiced the whole test as have been focusing on the GP and I could not ask or express more of him today. And the whole weekend for that matter… I am excited with the direction he is heading and proud of him for growing into the horse he can be!”

Results for the Special can be found here.

The judges included Katrina Wuest, Jacques Van Daele, Magnus Ringmark, Mats Eriksson and Hans-Christian Matthiesen.

The class was won by Germany’s Helen Langehanenberg and Annabelle 110 on 75.659%.

Earlier at the event, which also hosted the first FEI World Cup Dressage leg for the 2020/2021 season, Lyndal and Eros finished fourth in the Grand Prix CDI3* with a score of 70.957%.

Results from the Grand Prix can be found here.

The event was Lyndal’s first international Grand Prix with Eros, after the pair scored 70.5% in the Grand Prix at a German national event in June.

Congratulations Lyndal!
