Entries for the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event have officially opened this week, along with the announcement that major changes to the event have been made.

Following the cancellation of the event last year due to COVID-19, the famous 3-Day event has returned this year but will have many changes to the program and attendance.

A new partnership between organisers, Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI), and the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation, along with sponsors Land Rover, MARS Equestrian, and Rolex will ensure the CCI5*-L and the CCI4*-S class will go ahead. However, no spectators will be allowed to watch when the event takes place from 22-25 April.

In another change, the Kentucky CSI3* Invitational Grand Prix presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute will not be held this year.

Known as ‘The Best Weekend All Year’, the Land Rover Kentucky 3-Day Event is one of only seven annual Five Star three-day events in the world along with Badminton and Burghley in England, Luhmuhlen in Germany, Pau in France, Adelaide in Australia, and the new Five Star event in Maryland.
