Trapalanda Brigadeer (Marblz) and I have been together for six years, competing at a State and National level since 2010. Last year we began competing FEI Medium Tour in our home state, Western Australia. We are the only pony combination at this level in Western Australia and despite being the same age, I am the youngest rider at the level and Marblz would have to be the oldest horse!

At 20 years old, keeping him supple and flexible is paramount. Marblz is a naturally flexible pony and can happily scratch his ears with his hind hoof but after two days of competition and three FEI tests, including pirouettes and piaffe, even I get stiff.

We were introduced to Back On Track products in 2012, and since then the Horse Summer Rug has become an integral part of our management program. We use it on the way to events and training to ensure that his muscles are warmed up in preparation for work, and soon as I dismount, we put the rug back on to help him recover. Just looking at him walk off the float when we get home with his Back On Track rug on long strides and a big over-track tells me he is relaxed and happy.

I could not imagine training Marblz without the assistance of Back On Track – after four years of using the product, he is still as flexible and supple as he was 10 years ago!
