Finishing the Mongol Derby on day eight were Australians Will ‘Dingo’ Comiskey, 29, and Warren Sutton, 45 in joint fourth place.

Another three Aussies crossed the line in joint sixth: Rebecca Hewitt, 37, Jodie Ward, 31, and Greg Chant, 44 (along with Brooke Wharton, USA and Marie Palzer, NZ).

Congratulations - the Aussies have certainly done well this year in the world’s longest and toughest horse race!
