Equestrian Australia is very pleased to announce that this year's National Sport Achievement Awards Night, incorporating the EA Hall of Fame, will take place in the beautiful sunny Queensland state.

“This is the first time ever that our national achievement awards have ever been held in Queensland and we are very pleased to be able to celebrate and honour some of the sports greats both human and horse in this passionate Equestrian state,” said Paul Ward, Equestrian Australia's CEO.

The awards will recognise the outstanding achievements of Australian equestrian athletes (riders and horses), events, coaches, volunteers, officials, owners and administrators and events throughout 2016. The event will be held on Friday 24 March 2017  at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

Equestrian Australia's Sport Achievement Awards Night also honours the sport's most dedicated, successful and extraordinary through the Hall of Fame.

Matt Helmer, CEO of Equestrian Queensland said “We are delighted to welcome the prestigious Equestrian Australia 2016 Annual National Awards including the Hall of Fame to Queensland for the first time. Queensland has a proud history of achievements in Equestrian both domestically and internationally and it is exciting to celebrate the outstanding successes within an Olympic year at the iconic Brisbane Showgrounds".
