An outstanding game of Polo between BMW and VeriFone in the Final of the BMW NZ Polo Open has resulted in a win to BMW by just one goal.  The match was played yesterday at the Auckland Polo Club in Clevedon just south of Auckland.  John Paul Clarkin and his team had to draw on all their skills to head off Will Lucas and VeriFone in the final chukka. 

Final score BMW 9 – VeriFone 8.

In the other games Mitavite beat Peroni and Rodd & Gunn defeated Veuve Clicquot.

Fabulous weather, a huge crowd and superb Polo made the final day of BMW NZ Polo Open a great success.
