Results from cross country day at Wallaby Hill Three-Day Event

Cross country day at the OTTO Sports Three-Day Event at Wallaby Hill have seen a few changes to the leaderboards, with Emma Bishop and CP Issey Miyake now leading the CCI3* class on 46.7. Emma jumped clear and incurred just 0.8 time penalties to lead from Yona Lloyd and Sergeant Crisp on 56.4. Amanda Ross and Koko Popping Candy are in third place, less than one fault further back on 57.1.

The top three placegetters following the dressage phase all slipped down the leaderboard. Tom Boland had to retire both GV Billy Elliot and Napoleon on cross country, while Jessica Rae and Rascal picked up 60 jump faults and a further 34.4 time penalties. 10 combinations in total retired or were eliminated on the cross country.

In the CCI2*, Shane Rose and Swiper have taken the lead after a faultless cross country round to finish the day on their dressage score (45.6). Stuart Tinney and Wanda have leapt to third after a clear round, while the dressage leaders Sam Fasher and Sulitanos are in third after picking up 3.2 time penalties. 

 

In the CCI1*, the top six remain on their dressage scores. Grace Kay and Celerity Park Faberge lead from Jessica Rae and Alabama in second, and Same Lyle and BF Valour in third.

The showjumping phase takes place tomorrow (Sunday).
