Roll call for The Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International Three-Day Event set to begin

Big names heading to Fair Hill International for the USEF CCI3*and CCI2* Fall Championships and USEA Young Event Horse East Coast Championships

Entries for the Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International three-day event assure that there will be an exciting competition for the U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF) CCI3* and CCI2* Fall Eventing Championships and the U.S. Eventing Association (USEA)Young Event Horse East Coast Championships at the event in Fair Hill, Maryland, October 12-15. Competitors in the CCI3* and CCI2* will compete for top honors and $50,000 in prize money.
 
Considered one of the most prestigious international three-day events in the world, the Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International's CCI3* is boasting a world-class field of 44 national and international stars.

Heading the list in the CCI3* are U.S. Olympic veterans, Boyd Martin,Will Coleman, and Mara DePuy. Martin has entered three mounts, Blackfoot Mystery, Shamwari 4, and Tsetserleg. Coleman, has entered Boris O'Hara and Tight Lines in the CCI3* and will make an appearance in the CCI2* and USEA Young Event Horse East Coast Championship 5-Year-Old division with two hopefuls. DePuy will be competing Congo Brazzaville C.

Representing Australia, another Olympic veteran, Clayton Fredricks, will ride FE Ophelia, while Canada's Olympic and World Equestrian Games veteran Jessica Phoenix is bringing Pavarotti, Dr. Sheldon Cooper, and Bogue Sound.
   
The 2016 USEF CCI2* Fall Champion Jennie Brannigan of the U.S. will return to Fair Hill International to compete Cool As Ice in the CCI3*, while countryman and World Equestrian Games veteran Buck Davidson has entered Park Trader, Jack My Style, and Carlevo.

This event is, without a doubt, an ideal opportunity to see veterans and the future of the sport compete in the CCI3* and CCI2* Fall Eventing Championships and the USEA Young Event Horse East Coast Championships," said Carla Geiersbach, Executive Director of Fair Hill International. "Everyone has a front row seat to experience what eventing in the U.S. is really about."
 
In the CCI2*, 64 horse-and-rider combinations will compete to become the 2017 USEF CCI2* Fall Eventing Champion including U.S. rider Will Faudree, a World Equestrian Games veteran, who will vie for the title aboard Michel 233. Fellow American rider Allison Springer has entered three horses, Business Ben, Fernhill Casano, and Lord Willing, all of whom have been successful in moving up the ranks since the beginning of the 2017 season.

The Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International three-day event is currently awaiting approval by the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI), as the new CCI4* event to join the Kentucky Three-Day Event as the only two CCI4* events in the Western Hemisphere and just the seventh CCI4* on the FEI global calendar.
 
Fair Hill International has expanded its hospitality to provide an opportunity for all to indulge in their favorite foods, drinks and shopping needs. Tailgating during Saturday's cross-country competition is available for those wishing to enjoy the up-close thrill of watching world-class horses and riders gallop by as they contest the CCI3* and CCI2* courses set by 2020 Tokyo Olympic course designer Derek di Grazia.
 
The Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International three-day event truly has something for everyone. Gore Running Wear® invites all to participate in the inaugural Gore Running Wear® 5K race and enjoy the Craft Beer and Sports Expo on Saturday, October 14. Spectators can also enjoy numerous demonstrations ranging from dog agility and pony drill teams, face painting located in the Kids Corner, fantastic food options, and shopping in numerous country and equestrian vendor shops.
