Saturday at the Pryde’s EasiFeed Australian Jumping Championships saw national champions crowned in the Children’s Championship, Future Stars Championship, Mini Prix Championship and Amateur Championship.

The Final of the Beaconhills College Australian Children’s Championship saw 37 riders take part. The The title went to Maleah Lang McMahon from Queensland riding the grey mare KS Annassi. Maleah rode a double clear, one of six, and was the fast time in the jump off.

In the Champagne Pommery Australian Future Stars final for the younger horses, it was Mccaw MVNZ ridden by Katie Laurie who took out the final with two clear rounds. In a competitive class of 42 horses, there were 16 that made it through to the jump off with clear rounds; of those 16, four produced a double clear. Katie was the quickest by nearly a second to take out the title.

The Sam Williams Equestrian Australian Mini Prix Championship final was won by Rhys Stones riding the stallion Tulara Colmar. The pair were one of nine to jump clear and contest the jump off; three combinations produced a double clear but it was Rhys who produced a lightning quick round to claim the title.

The Baillieu Vineyard Australian Amateur Championship final was won by Morgan Daniel of Queensland riding Aladino. The pair were the fastest clear combination in a 15-horse jump off.

Finally, the Kieran Haulage Australian Speed Championship entertained everyone as the last class of the day, with Clem Smith and Guru of Queensland the quickest combination on course to claim the top prize.
