Last Saturday, Winx achieved her 20th straight win in taking out the George Main Stakes at Royal Randwick. It was a remarkable feat, and this mare continues to capture the imaginations of those in the racing world — and beyond!

However just hours after Winx passed the post, her mother — Vegas Showgirl — was busy giving birth to a gorgeous little filly. Born at Segenhoe Stud just outside of Scone, the filly is by well-known sire Exceed And Excel. John Camilleri, Winx’s breeder, plans to keep Winx’s latest half-sister.

Interestingly, Vegas Showgirl’s last foal arrived on the day of Winx's Warwick Stakes victory last year. How’s that for timing!
