State Branches vote to accept proposed amendments to the Equestrian Australia Constitution

This afternoon, the Special General Meeting of Equestrian Australia took place.

Equestrian NSW, Equestrian Victoria, Equestrian Tasmania, Equestrian South Australia and Equestrian Western Australia released the following statement via their social media pages:

“(We are) pleased to advise that this afternoon, 15 September 2020, at a Special General Meeting of Equestrian Australia (EA), the State Branches voted to accept the proposed amendments to the Equestrian Australia (EA) Constitution.

“As a result the Administrators Deed of Company Arrangement (DOCA) has been satisfied and EA will not be put into liquidation.

“(We look) forward to working with our members, the National Discipline Committees and the Interim EA Board in progressing the next stage of EA’s Governance Reform.”

The interim board will be in place within 45 days.
