Stuart Tinney has won the CCI4*L feature class at the 2019 Melbourne International Three-Day Event, leading from start to finish with the lovely chestnut Celebration. They jumped clear today, and with just two time penalties on yesterday’s cross country they finished the event on 30.9. No one finished on their dressage score, but Stuart was certainly one of the closest!

MI3DE has proven to be a successful event for Stuart and Celebration, with the pair winning the CCI2* (now CCI3*L) last year.

Second place went to Tim Boland and the handsome Napoleon. They had one rail down today, but with just 5.2 time penalties on cross country yesterday, they ended on a very competitive score of 42.1. In third place was Victorian Andrew Cooper and Oaks Onyx; Andrew produced one of only five clear rounds today, and with just 3.2 time penalties yesterday they finished with 42.2.
