Stuart Tinney leads Wallaby Hill CCI4*S

By Equestrian Life

Wallaby Hill International got underway in NSW today, with the CCI4*S riders strutting their stuff in the dressage arena. With 40 competitors lining up in the main class, including many hoping to catch the eye of Olympic selectors, competition was always going to be fierce.

Stuart Tinney and Celebration turned in a 74.17% dressage test, meaning the pair hold a clear lead over the field on 25.8 penalties heading into tomorrow’s show jumping phase.

Emma Bishop and CP Issey Miyake hold second place on 27.1, while Stuart Tinney and Leporis are a close third on 27.7. Shane Rose and Easy Turn, who won the CCN4*S at Quirindi over the Easter weekend, are in fourth on 29.4.

In fifth place is Heath Ryan and Bronze Boy R on 29.5, and in sixth Gemma Tinney and Diabolo on 29.9. With the top six all sitting under 30 penalties, tomorrow’s show jumping will no doubt be exciting!

Full results from this class can be found here.
