The XI FIP World Polo Championship will begin on Saturday, October 21, with tournament favourites Argentina taking on the USA. The opening match will be followed by a colourful Opening Ceremony.

A cavalcade of entertainers and the equestrian athletes of all disciplines that will be competing at the Championship will take to the International Field, with the Australian national anthem to be performed by event ambassador Erin Holland.
 
Australia will then take on Spain in the afternoon game, followed by vaulting and jousting displays.

Celebrities and VIPs will enjoy the hospitality of The Chukka Club and The Polo Sports Bar presented by Pommery. Guests will be served Pommery champagne, Treasury Wine Estate, delicious canapes highlighting local produce and sweet treats from Adriano Zumbo.

12pm: Art Exhibition Opened by Dominic Perrottet MP and Prizes Announced
1pm-2pm: Opening Ceremony (International Field)
2pm-2:30pm: Media call with WPC staff, FIP officials and team captains (International Field)
2:30pm-4:30pm: Australia vs Spain (International Field)
3pm: Vaulting (Celebrity Field)
4:30pm: Jousting (Celebrity Field)
