The joy of being a Rose-Hip Vital® Equine Brand Ambassador

Written by Mim Coleman

Since I officially joined the team in August I have had the opportunity to speak to so many people about Rose-Hip Vital.  However before I talk about that I thought you may like an update on Tiny and how we are travelling on our Road to Grand Prix.

August is a very busy time for me at work so training took a lesser focus on the “hard” stuff and more on keeping Tiny happy and motivated in his work.  This can be a challenge in the depth of winter in Tassie.  This year I am pleased (tongue firmly in cheek) to advise that our winter was the COLDEST ever recorded!  If you saw the length and thickness of Tiny’s coat you could well believe it.
A wonderful highlight at this time was being awarded Dressage Tasmania 2015 Medium Tour Horse of the Year.  What a buzz and an award I am so very proud of.

As the days grew longer and the weather gods teased us with warmer temperatures the training program ramped up.  The competition season was close and Tiny and I had great plans ahead.  A phenomenal clinic with Roger Fitzhardinge had us tuned up beautifully.  We entered the PSG at the 4th of October competition.  We decided on PSG as I wanted to ensure that Tiny was fit enough for the gruelling Medium Tour tests that we would enter during the season. So the PSG was a nice way to start off the season, especially given we hadn’t competed since early March.  However Tiny developed a chesty cough the week leading up to the competition so I withdrew and consulted with the vet. After a week of low key, off the shelf, medication Tiny was clear of the cough and ready to go again.  I credit Rose-Hip Vital Equine for speeding up the recovery.  I wonder how he would have fared if he had NOT been on Rose-Hip Vital Equine?
So with a little hiccup we were back on track.

We attended a clinic with Tanja Mitton which was AMAZING!! It inspired my recent blog “Get Hippy with it” which can read on EQLife.  Following the insights from this clinic Tiny and I performed 15 one times changes!! The most we had achieved prior to this was 8! 15 one times changes is a requirement of the Grand Prix test so I was a little gobsmacked when I realised what we had achieved.
This was followed up with a clinic with Charlotte Pedersen who quietly goes about getting the BEST out of us.  I don’t know where we would be without her.

I was so excited about the November competition. We entered the Medium Tour test the Inter A.  Our first outing since March and we scored a very respectable 62.2%.  What a fantastic start to our season.  The plan is to keep focussed and train hard.  We have another 2 competitions before Christmas and then a break until February.

Also during this time I had many opportunities to sing the praises of Rose-Hip Vital.  I caught up with friends in Albury who are converts to Rose-Hip Vital.  Nic and Anthony take the human Rose-Hip Vital, their dachshund Holly Rose-Hip Vital Canine and their warmblood mare PP is on the Rose-Hip Vital Equine.  Now I know this doesn’t sound like a big deal but believe me it is.  Nic is the hardest person to convince new concepts to. Like me she is the supreme researcher, and she is LOVING the results.  Her husband Anthony said that whilst he still did catch a few colds over winter he said that they were less severe and he recovered much faster from them.  Nic said that Holly’s coat is fantastic and her regular acupuncturist has noticed she requires less treatment.  PP is glowing and has mellowed since on Rose-Hip Vital Equine.

What was really lovely was we were recently on the Sunshine Coast on holiday together.  We were on our morning walk and we came across a dachshund.  We stopped to chat as fellow dog owners want to do and Nic was telling the owner that she MUST get her dachshund on Rose-Hip Vital Canine!  I was in shock, I didn’t get a chance to say a thing. The product sells itself.

A final word on Tiny.  He looks just awful when his winter coat is dead and the summer coat takes an eternity to come through.  He has now FINALLY lost his winter coat and the quality of his summer coat is the BEST I have ever seen.  He is positively BLOOMING, he is looking amazing and I credit this to Rose-Hip Vital Equine.

I hope this finds you all well.  With the joys of the silly season now upon us I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a fabulous Christmas and New Year.  Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to be your brand ambassador I am honoured.
All the best
