The latest FEI Eventing World Athlete Rankings have been released, which include all validated results from 1st March 2019 to 31st December 2020.

Great Britain's Olver Townend retains his position as #1 Eventing Rider in the world with 577 points, just ahead of New Zealander Tim Price on 573 points. Great Britain's Piggy March is ranked third with 556 points, while Chris Burton is the highest ranked Australian on 515 points. There were no changes to the top 7 rankings when compared to the previous list, with Tom Mcewen (Great Britain), Boyd Martin (USA) and Alexander Bragg (Great Britain) ranked 5th, 6th and 7th.

Stuart Tinney has risen from 14th to now be ranked 8th in the world, with fellow Australian Shane Rose also climbing up the rankings from 24th to 15th.

Other Australians in the top 50 include Kevin McNab (34th), Hazel Shannon (39th), Andrew Hoy (42nd), Andrew Cooper (46th) and Sammi Birch (50th). Sammi's previous ranking was 184th; her success at Barroca d'Alva in late 2020 contributed to her significant climb up the leaderbord.

Amanda Ross (55th), Sam Lyle (81st) and Jessica Rae (99th) are the remaining Australians listed in the top 100.

The full ranking list can be found here.
