Functionality made beautiful.

A progressive design that speaks a unique language. The dynamic roof line underlines the athletic character of the five-door model. The distinctive tornado line along the edge of the windows and the dynamic line above the sills show its lean side.
The narrow headlights give the Audi A3 Sportback a determined, focused appearance. They come standard as xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights.

The rear view, with its new three-dimensional rear lights, a wide diffuser and integrated roof edge spoiler, creates a more masculine and sporty look than ever before.

Audi Matrix LED headlights??Optionally available for the first time on the A3, Matrix LED headlights use data recorded by the camera, sensors and navigation system to selectively illuminate the vehicle surroundings with precision. This outstanding technology integrates numerous convenience functions to enable automated division between dipped and high beam, such as dynamic cornering light and permanent high beam with partial masking of other road users as required. They also feature dynamic indicators at both the front and rear.

High quality and innovative design can be found in every detail. The horizontal architecture of the dashboard emphasises the size of the interior, and 3D inlays seem to embrace the driver. The slimline 7-inch electrically extending colour display presents all the information with impressive clarity.

With the MMI navigation and intuitive MMI control panel, you can let yourself be guided to your destination with ease. The integrated voice control allows you to speak naturally with whole-word entry of address in one sentence. This MMI navigation system is a standard feature in the A3 Sportback.

Comfortable seats and a generous amount of space characterise the rear. The rear bench seat can be split-folded 60 : 40 to increase the luggage space. With the rear bench seat folded down completely you have 1,220 litres of space available. The height-adjustable loading floor, under which you can create a further storage compartment, provides even more functionality.


Driver assistance systems.

A sophisticated array of technology in the A3 Sportback creates a safer drive, including Autonomous Emergency Braking as standard.

This system can detect vehicles in a speed range of up to approx. 65 km/h. If an imminent collision is detected, the system warns the driver and, if necessary, can initiate a maximum deceleration action to reduce the speed or, if possible, prevent the collision.

Parking systems

A standard feature of the A3 Sportback is the parking system plus including front and rear sensors, as well as a rear camera, making every parking manoeuvre an easy one.

Audi side assist

With this optional feature, should a vehicle loom in your blind spot from behind, radar sensors will activate LED warning signals to let you know – flashing more urgently if you’ve indicated to change lanes.

Infotainment

MMI navigation.??With the MMI navigation and intuitive MMI control panel, you can let yourself be guided to your destination with ease. This MMI navigation system is a standard feature in the A3 Sportback.

The Audi smartphone interface, an optional feature of the A3, creates a seamless link between your smartphone and the infotainment system, so you can enjoy uninterrupted smartphone functionality while driving. Access your smartphone apps through the central MMI controls, the multifunction steering wheel, or using voice command. It’s never been easier to stay connected.

With the optional Audi virtual cockpit, you always have the key information clearly in view. Two display modes are available for the 12.3 inch display: the classic view in which the instruments are as large as the traditional analogue displays, and the infotainment mode, which contrasts to provide a central window in the foreground, allowing space for features such as a navigation map.

Outstanding performance with lower fuel consumption.
The latest range of TFSI petrol and TDI diesel engines impress with an agile ride as well as high efficiency. A three-cylinder engine is offered for the A3 Sportback for the first time with the 1.0 TFSI. This compact engine provides 85 kW of power and 200 Nm of torque, and consumes only 4.8 litres of fuel per 100km*.
