500,000 Euro were paid by customers from Lower Saxony for the OL Champion Stallion by Benicio-Sir Donnerhall I-Rubinstein I. The breeder Dr. Katharina Paschertz as well as the exhibitor Wilhelm Sieverding and Anne Haase are from the heart of the Oldenburg breeding area, Cappeln.

The second highest price was paid for a colt with fascinating movements by Foundation-Del Martion-Eskardo, bred by Franz-Josef Wieghaus-Vorwerk from Neuenkirchen and owned by Andreas Helgstrand und Udo Wagner from Denmark. Customers from the Netherlands purchased this talented, licensed colt for 320,000 Euro.

 

Oldenburg’s high quality show jumpers were also very much in demand. Customers from Westphalia won the bidding of the OS Champion Stallion by Diamant de Semilly-Quidam de Revel-Pilot-Landgraf I, bred by Michael Kotter from Tettenweis and owned by De Laquour Premium GmbH in Hanau. This champion was knocked-down by star auctioneer Uwe Heckmann for 220,000 Euro.

 Saddleworld

The second most expensive colt in the jumper lot was a premium colt by Stakkato Gold-Classiker-Perfekt, bred and owned by Uwe Hannöver from Garrel. Customers from Lower Saxony purchased this jumper for 110,000 Euro.

 

A total of eight of the 18 colts in dressage from the Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes (OL) will bring joy to Oldenburg friends from abroad. Two of the twelve colts from Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International were sold to customers from foreign countries. The following countries purchased colts: Denmark (3), The Netherlands (3), Austria (2), Sweden (2), Switzerland (1) and the Ukraine (1).

 

The Oldenburg dressage colts brought a total of 2,177,000 Euro and the average price for licensed stallions levelled off at 139,333 Euro. The average price of stallions that were not licensed was 29,000 Euro.

 

The total sales for the jumper colts from the OS Verband was 771,000 Euro. Bidders had to pay an average price of 88,125 Euro for a licensed colt; colts that were not licensed were sold for 16,500 Euro on average.
