Top Victorian showjumpers flock to Sale

It may not be a World Cup show thanks to Covid, but The Elms Grand Prix Show, presented by Sale & District Showjumping Club, has attracted the state’s top riders as competition got underway today.

The pinnacle of the weekend is set to be the 1.40m Grand Prix, which just about any other year would have been a CSI-W class. Riders set to line up for this event on Sunday include Brook Dobbin, Sally Simmonds, Amanda Ross, Phillip Lever and more. You can view the exciting line up here.

Today’s 1.35m Table A (against the clock, no jump off) featured most of the Grand Prix starters, and it was Frida Lindgren and Nicolossi who finished atop the list, just ahead of Brook Dobbin and Gabriel MVNZ. Tory Stuckey and Finch Farm Cab Sav were third.

The 1.25m Table A (one round with one jump off) went to Sally Simmonds and Chio MS, while the 1.15m Table A (against the clock, no jump off) was won by Airlie Robinson and Yalambis Corlandia.

Live results across the weekend can be followed via Equipe.
