Top ten for Tor Van Den Berge at FEI Driving World Championship for Pairs

Australian driver Tor Van Den Berge has finished in tenth place from 97 competitors at the FEI Driving World Championship for Pairs in Kronenberg, the Netherlands.

Tor and his team were seventh in the dressage phase, 14th in the marathon phase and 23rd in the cones phase to finish on a total of 174.73 for tenth overall. First place when to Hungary’s Martin Holle on 161.23.

It was a truly Australian performance, with Tor’s horses, Carbery Estate Cato and Carbery Estate Chino, both Australian bred by Ross Carbery and Miriam Bentley.

Fellow Aussie Andrew Damsma and his horses Humorist R.W. and Joviro R.W finished the competition in 57th position, a great effort for their first World Championships.

Australia finished in 10th place overall in the team competition.
