The Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) - the world’s richest dressage circuit - is underway in Florida, with champion rider Lisa Wilcox topping the prize money table after the first week of competition.

Lisa and her 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding Galant (Escuro x Bellisima) won the World Cup Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle events - earning US$6,600 in the process. As a result, Lisa topped the table of 29 riders from 10 nations. Second on the list was the UK’s Susan Pape with US$4,460, followed by Canadian Megan Lane with US$4,040.

Lisa and Galant earned a great score of 77.209% for their Justin Timberlake and “Trolls” movie soundtrack-themed Freestyle routine.

The first events of the AGDF were held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Centre, in Wellington, Florida. The circuit resumes this weekend with the CPEDI 1*/2*/3* Para Dressage. The 2017 AGDF hosts seven CDI events, two CPEDI competitions, and national shows through to March 25. Stay tuned!
