As we head to the 12th season of the Longines Global Champions Tour, which kicks off in Mexico City this coming April, now is the perfect opportunity to take a look back at the incredible 2016 season event by event with our international highlights programmes.

The first instalment sees the Tour kick start the season at the magnificent Miami Beach, where two time LGCT Champion of Champions Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS) smashed the opposition in a stunning opening event. With her fiery mare Lintea Tequila, the pair were the perfect epitome of ‘Fortune Favours the Brave’, leaving the watching audience on the edge of their seats during a high-octane jump off, and pipping home heros McLain Ward (USA) and HH Azur to the win.
