Held last weekend, the Hartpury Festival of Dressage in the UK attracted large numbers of competitors and spectators alike. Charlotte Dujardin won numerous classes across the weekend with a number of up and coming horses - and she also partnered with Valegro in a special guest appearance on the Saturday.

The record breaking horse treated the crowd to a demonstration ride during the gala evening, with renowned international judge Stephen Clarke narrating throughout. At the culmination of the display, Charlotte and Valegro danced their way out of the arena to a very fitting song - Tina Turner’s Simply the Best.

Although Valegro retired at Olympia last year, Charlotte still keeps him fit and active. While he’s not competition fit, he usually enjoys three rides a week - including a bit of hacking out and jumping!
