Even with their past success, VDL Stud are always looking forward.
While the older stallions continue to prove themselves as producers of top competition horses with both Cardento Elite and Indoctro Prefedent moving into the top 10 WBFSH Show Jumping Sires Rankings in 2014, they are joined by newly retired Bubalu Elite. Bubalu in partnership with Jur Vrieling won and placed in numerous Nation Cup Competitions, culminating in Team Silver at the London Olympics 2012 and Team Gold at the World Equestrian Games for the Netherlands in Normandy, France in 2014.
Stallions like Zirroco Blue, Arezzo VDL, Dallas VDL, Baltic VDL and Carrera VDL are continuing to prove themselves at the top of the sport as both competition and breeding stallions.

With an eye to the future, VDL Stud’s complementing their “stallion collection” with a group of young stallions approved by several studbooks. These stallions offer a variety of excellent pedigrees and performance blood. The new bloodlines feature Baloubet du Rouet, Cornet Obolensky, Orient Express, Stakkato, Quick Star and Barcardi. These options offer new combinations ensuring the diversity of bloodlines for all breeders. Five jumping stallions and one dressage stallion were approved by the KWPN in 2015.
At any time VDL Stud can offer foals, yearlings, 2 and 3-year olds and broodmares with the best of proven bloodlines and a wide selection of show jumpers and dressage horses from starters level up to Grand Prix.
