“Happy snap… Calanta just after our GP in the CDIO5 * today in Compiegne. Just a tick under 70%, and we are all smiles. Thanks for the lovely crowd support, and photo.”

The dressage at Compiegne in France saw wins to Patrik Kittel, Emmelie Scholtens and Gareth Hughes in the CDIO5* classes, with Great Britain — led by Carl Hester — taking out the Nations Cup team trophy.

However, there were a number of Australian riders at the event who also produced great results — congratulations Mary Hanna, Warwick McLean and Peter Weston!

Mary contested the CDIO5* with mare Calanta, finishing a very credible 13th from 31 starters in the Grand Prix behind the likes of Patrik and Carl, and also 12th from 17 in the Freestyle behind Emmelie Scholtens and Desperado. Mary and Calanta scored 69.957% in the GP and 69.170% in the Freestyle.

Warwick McLean competed in the CDI3* Grand Prix and Special with Sir Heinrich M, scoring 65.022% and 64.827% respectively. In the Prix St Georges he rode Hendrix 11 to 9th of 42 starters, scoring 69.853%. They also scored 68.088% in the Inter I.

Finally, Peter Weston competed with Kavalou. They pair scored 64.478% in the Grand Prix CD3* and 64.936% in the Special.

Well done Mary, Warwick and Peter!
