Champion para dressage riders Ricky Balshaw and Sir Lee Pearson are set to compete in a World Championship reining qualifier.

Paralympic medallist Balshaw will come out of retirement to compete, while 11-time Paralympic gold medal winner Pearson (who is a current squad member) will also give the sport a go for the first time. It will certainly be something a little different to riding a dressage test!

The pair will compete at the para reining World Championship qualifier, held at the International Garden of England Spring Showat Bodiam International Arena in East Sussex  (26-30 May).

The 2017 Para Reining World Championships are planned for July 4-9 in Ermelo, the Netherlands.
