Do you have an innate understanding of the digital space and a passion for all things equestrian?

Equestrian Life is entering a period of exciting growth and change! As such, we’re searching for a dynamic, innovative and self-driven digital wizard who understands the opportunities and challenges that come with working in the ever-changing online space. As Digital Media Executive, you will assist in managing Equestrian Life’s digital presence, from our website, through to our social media platforms, e-newsletter and expanding video media programme.

Working in a close-knit team, you will support the General Manager Content and Head of Partnerships, but will also possess an ability to work autonomously and take initiative.

YOU WILL HAVE:

• 1-2 years experience working in the digital space, e.g. social media management, digital marketing or website management OR a Bachelor Degree in Media/Journalism/Communications or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• An eye for detail
• Knowledge of the equestrian industry

GREAT, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

• Journalism/blogging/writing experience
• Basic photography skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite; in particular InDesign, Lightroom and Premiere Pro (or similar video editing program)
• Video production experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Input into planning and creation of Equestrian Life digital content
• Daily updating of Equestrian Life website
• Integrating Equestrian Life content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter
• Planning and creation of Equestrian Life fortnightly eDM
• Developing initiatives to grow reach and engagement across social media platforms and eDM
• Implementing digital content schedule for Equestrian Life advertisers; this includes liaising with advertisers to ensure timely delivery and publication of content
• Assisting with planning and production of video content
• Attending and assisting with live streaming events
• Assisting with the production of Equestrian Life bi-monthly magazine
